Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa features several dining options. Today we will explore all that 'Ama 'Ama has to offer.

'Ama 'Ama serves

Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM Daily

Lunch: 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM Daily

and

Dinner: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Reservations are highly recommended. It's really easy to do. You can either call the resort or make a reservation online. https://www.disneyaulani.com/dining/table-service/ama-ama-restaurant/

Getting here:

'Ama 'Ama is located inside the resort itself. Get down to the ground floor and walk towards the beach. It will be on the left just past Aunty's Beach House. The restaurant itself overlooks the beautiful Ko'olina Beach.

MMTip: You do not need to stay at the resort to eat at the restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended. This is where you can also let them know if you're celebrating something special.

Parking:

You can either self park in the regular lot of valet. The restaurant will validate your parking with $35 or more.

Looking at the menus we opted to dine at lunch. I made a reservation at 11:30 AM just to beat the rush.

When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hostesses. They check you in and you can have some fruit infused water while you wait.

For a party of 2 we were seated right on the edge with the most gorgeous view.

The menu has a variety of options to meet everyone's needs.

We decided to try the 'Ama 'Ama Chopped salad with crispy Wonton Strips, Bacon, Chopped Tomatoes Avocado, Egg, Furikake, Capers and House-made Ranch Dressing. You can get a side for $12 or as your entree for $18. You could also add additional protein to the salad.

Chopped Salad

We also ordered the Lobster Roll with Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado on a Portuguese Sweet Bread Roll. This was $25.

You get a choice of side. I love the regular french fries.

If you're not too full you can order dessert but we didn't have room this time. My goal is to order less so I can try the dessert next time.

We were celebrating my birthday so the waiter brought out a few special things.

First was a signed picture from Minnie Mouse and the Staff wishing me a happy birthday.

The next was a chocolate mousse cake. As you can see the inside it was rich but oh so yummy.

The last was a birthday button. You'll see Hau'oli La Hanau which is Hawaiian for Happy Birthday. Hau'oli (happy) La (day) Hanau (birth). You can say that to a pal who is celebrating their birthday.

We loved this dining experience. It was like getting a dose of magic. We will definitely be back soon.
