Meet me at 'Ama 'Ama for lunch

Did you know that you don't have to be a guest at Aulani to dine at one of their restaurants? One of our favorites is having lunch at 'Ama 'Ama. I've blogged about 'Ama 'Ama before but you just can't be the view and the salad.

We ordered the 'Ama 'Ama Chopped Salad. So yummy. It has a local twist on an amazing classic. We also got the lobster roll. It is huge and filling. Please note that they don't serve the onion rings here. You can go to the pool bar next door and grab yourself an order. With the lobster roll you can get regular french fries or sweet potato fries.

The menus are different for breakfast, lunch and dinner so make sure you check it out before you go. Reservations are highly recommended but not required. If you dine here they will validate your parking for 2.5 hours. It's a win-win.

Once we're almost through they always ask if we want dessert. I'm either usually too full or want to check out what 'Ulu cafe has across the resort.

We actually said no thank you when our server let us know they had some new desserts on the menu. The mochi cake has been moved to Dinner. They've changed it up a little.

There are two new desserts and we decided to try one of the two this time. It is a plant based dessert. Way to go Aulani in offering something for everyone.

This is the Coconut Kafir Tapioca. It's $13.

It has tropical fresh fruits, lilikoi reduction, mamaki tea kanten, candied macadamia nuts, tapioca and lilikoi sorbet.

Let me just tell you this dessert is a winner. It is light and refreshing. I would 10 /10 get it again. It might have to wait because the next time we want to try the other new dessert.

I also spotted a new plant based pasta on the menu. Make sure you head over and check it all out.

XOXO,

The meet me traveler
