Meet me at "Menehune Mischief" Character Dinner

At Aulani there are two character dining. Breakfast and dinner. In the morning Aulani has a character breakfast with Aunty and her friends, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy.

In the evening Uncle tells you stories of the menehune with his friends Donald, Chip, Dale and Stitch.

The first time we went it was just a dinner buffet. No Uncle and Disney friends. As of February 25, 2020 they now do character dinner buffets 7 days a week.

We got to go back and experience it with the characters. Same great food but the storytelling and characters just made it more fun. It was filled with Disney magic. With the character dining it was about $7 more. Totally worth it.

When you arrive and check in, you get a photo opp with Donald in his vacation best.

He was so fun.

After meeting with Donald you head to a seating area for you name to be called.

Once called your server explains your drink options and you're free to start eating the buffet.

They offer a variety of soft drinks, hot and cold teas and juices. They all refillable and you can mix and match throughout your meal. They also have hot chocolate and coffee available.

For the food. There is truly something for everyone.

Salads. I tried the wedge salad on the left and it was so good. Super fresh.

Sushi and sashimi

Poke. I tried the tako poke (octopus) and it was so good.

Vegetables and starch. I tried both the mashed potatoes and fried rice. Both were good. I really liked the mashed potatoes.

Pasta. I tried the one in the middle so yummy. There weren't many things that I didn't like. haha.

lots of seafood. If you're into that you're in for a treat.

Snow crab with butter. I enjoyed cracking my own crab. I thought it was sweeter. The other one was kind of salty.

Pizza!!! I liked the mushroom and pepperoni one.

Noodles and protein.

They also had fresh fruit.

Now for the real star the dessert!!!

My favorites are the tapioca, chocolate molten lava cake, the raspberry yuzu tart, marshmallow wand.

Like other Disney character dining they come around to your table and interact. You are more than welcome to take a picture with them. So cute.

Parking:

With $50 they do validate for 2.5 hours. It's enough to eat and walk around or shop.

We had such a great time. Lots of laughs and full tummies. I can't wait to go back.
