Rising Moons! In a galaxy now not so far away on the planet of Batuu you can now enjoy an alcoholic drink. Besides Club 33 which is a member only place, Batuu is the only other place at Disneyland where you can have a drink.

Meet me at Oga's Cantina. In this post I will tell you how to get in and provide you with some tips. Until June 24th, Batuu is accessed by reservation only. There are a few experiences on Batuu that fill up fast. Savi's workshop where you can build your own lightsaber. Building your own droid at the droid depot. Having a drink at Oga's Cantina. If you want to do any of these make sure it's your first stop.

We were held on the pathway for 15 min

You can get your wrist band 2-3 hours prior to your reservation at Launch Bay in Tomorrowland. Once you do that I would head over to your holding spot. Ours was at the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country. You want to get as close to the front as you can. You should probably game plan and if you want to do one or more of the big three and I would have your party split up.

There will be different people holding sticks and you'll want to follow the right one. For Oga's Cantina the CM had a stick with orange ties. You'll want to stay to the right and behind them. We received warnings that if you get in front of them you'll be sent to the back. As you get closer to the Cantina they will make you get into a single file line so make sure you stay on the right. They'll push everyone towards the wall.

We were held here for another 30 minutes.

Once they let people into the land follow the people with the sticks. They will bring you to Oga's Cantina. Right now they are doing return times for the Cantina. You only need one person from your group. Make sure they have a cell phone or know someone's number. They have about 6-8 CM with hand held devices. They ask how many people in your party and take your phone number. There is an initial text message to tell an estimated wait time. They also tell you, you'll get another text when it is time to return to the Cantina. There is a certain point where they will cut off the reservations because it will go over your time. This will probably change once the reservations are lifted. I was about 25th in line and we already had an estimated 60 minute wait.

This is the text they will send you

Once you get the text message rush back to Oga's Cantina. We got the text at just about the 60 minute mark so that was pretty accurate. From our experience we had to wait another 20 minutes from this point. If you have a smaller group it will probably be faster. We heard them call for groups of 2 or 3. We had a group of 6.

Once we were finally let in we were greeted by DJ Rex spinning on the ones and twos. It is such a neat experience. There are a few booths on the perimeter of the Cantina but most were standing tables and space at the bar. It has a bar feel. My niece loves to run around, so this wouldn't be the best place for her but all ages are welcome.

We had to find our own space at the bar and were told to flag down any bartender we could.

There is a two drink maximum and right now a 45 minute time limit in the Cantina. I ordered the Hyperdrive (Punch it). It was 6 credits. They use the term Credits instead of dollars. My friend got the Jabba Juice.

My drink was super pretty and pretty tasty. It had Powerade, Cranberry, Cherry and Sprite. It wasn't overly sweet. I tasted the Powerade and the cherry. I would get it again but probably after I tried a few of the other drinks. My friend really liked hers as well.

The rest of our group got their drinks. Everyone seemed to like them. I'd say it was a hit. It was worth getting to the front of the line early and almost getting trampled.

I do regret not getting the Cliff Dweller that comes in a Porg mug that you get to take home. If you order this make sure you turn it into your bartender and they'll give you clean one in a box.

I may or may not have taken home a couple of the coasters.

I heard this is where the boba comes from. LOL

I think he makes the drinks.

In all seriousness, the details in here are amazing and being able to come in and have a drink with the awesome atmosphere is totally worth it.

If you get in make sure you stay awhile to look at everything and listen to DJ Rex.

Until the spire.
