We usually got to 'Ama 'Ama for lunch. I love their chopped salad. It is so good. We were at Aulani early so we decided to have breakfast. Breakfast did not disappoint.

We started with drinks.

We asked what flavor iced teas they have and the server mentioned mango or lychee. We usually get the mango, which is good, but this time we opted for the lychee. OMG. I am obsessed with this lychee iced tea. The mango flavor is lighter so it's more iced tea with a hint of mango. This one you can tell it has lychee in it. SO GOOD!! I am getting this every time.

For food, my husband ordered the ‘AMA’AMA Breakfast Sandwich. It is $26. Lobster Claw, Bacon, Sunny side up Egg, Avocado, Heirloom Tomato, Butter Lettuce Truffle Oil, Kewpie Mayonnaise on a Brioche Bun. It came with a side of fruit.
He said it was amazing. I may or may not have been taking pictures of my pancakes when I looked up and his sandwich was gone. LOL

I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes. It is $20. It comes with a Macadamia Nut –Tahitian Vanilla or Pineapple, Coconut, Passion Orange-Guava, condensed milk Sauce. Our server was nice enough to bring out both sauces so I could try them along with maple syrup.

I heard that they can be made into a Mickey shape. Let's be real, everything tastes better Mickey shaped. They came out so cute. The sauces were on the side so you could see the shape. These pancakes were scrumptious. They were dense without being heavy but at the same time they were light and fluffy.
Let's talk about the sauces. I tried one pancake with the macadamia nut Tahitian vanilla sauce. It was good. It was thick and creamy. It was almost like melted vanilla ice cream. It had large chunks of macadamia nut in it. It gave it a nice crunchy texture.

This sauce was sweeter and it had chunks of pineapple in it. If I could only choose one sauce I would go with the macadamia nut vanilla sauce. Ask if you can get both.
We also ordered a side of fried rice. This side was $5, Stitch not included.

The fried rice was good. It had rice, egg, char siu pork, peas and topped with green onions.
Seasoning was on point and paired well with our dishes.
The breakfast menu is pretty large. They even have a Japanese breakfast that sounds really amazing.
I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.
